GIVING BACKIt is a challenge to stand out in the retail alcoholic beverages industry! In 2007 Cherry Hill Liquors donated to several causes to better the community. The biggest way in 2007 of giving back was to involve our customers in raising funds for veterans at the VA Hospital at Perry Point, Maryland. See the Perry Point Veterans Page for details on this page. We supported the following causes in 2007: *Joseph Lanzi Scholarship (by way of the Maryland Troopers Lodge) *Elkton Police Department's FOP *American Lung Association *Veterans Administration Hospital at Perry Point In addition, we tend the United States' and Maryland flags within the Lanzi Roundabout. This is done as a tribute to Trooper First Class Joseph T. Lanzi, a Maryland State Trooper who died in the line of duty. Please note that although the flags are all weather flags they are not flown in inclement or windy weather, unless for good cause (i.e. Patriot's Day, Memorial Day etc.). Flags are also flown at half-staff as directed by the President of the United States and/or the Governor of Maryland. This page was last updated December 18, 2007. |
